Gratitude is the attitude

Ok, so this blog posting daily thing is harder than I thought it was going to be. But like the saying goes, “practice makes perfect!”


I recently restarted writing in a “gratitude journal.”

My goal is do an entry a day, usually at night before I sleep. (Which is why I probably don’t do blog posts daily, time management 🤦‍♀️)

Writing down what I feel grateful for at the end of the day is such a rewarding practice. I try to rewind the day and replay what I accomplished and what I was given the privilege to experience.

Tonights post looked something like this:

Today I am grateful for my day trip to Michigan, I went to do a clients hair and got to enjoy the ride with my friend. Being away from the city and with nature is always such a treat…

There are days, months, years I have skipped doing this, don’t beat yourself up. But I would love to recommend you try it! Energy is contagious and I think it may be safe to say we could all use a little more gratitude in our lives!
